THE ADULT CHOIR is open to all parishioners, young and old, who enjoy Christian fellowship and praising God through song. While this choir prepares and performs a large amount of repertoire, no musical experience is necessary to join! Singers are generally in at least 9th grade, but special exceptions may be made.
This choir provides music for the liturgy at the 10 a.m. Eucharist each Sunday, as well as for Holy Day services such as Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil. The choir season runs from after Labor Day in September through late May mid-June (Trinity Sunday).
Rehearsals take place weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm and are a time to not only prepare anthems but to increase singers’ musical knowledge and vocal skills. There is also a brief Sunday morning warm-up and mini-rehearsal beginning at 9:15 a.m.
